ADAS Calibration Specialists

As technology makes major advancements within the motor industry, garages have to adapt. We have moved with the times by installing Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) calibration equipment in our garage and providing the necessary training to our technicians to ensure that we are able to cater for vehicles with ADAS installed.

Following a collision, this MK7 Volkswagen Golf required a replacement of the radar sensor which is located in the front grill. We then had to code this sensor to the vehicle using our genuine VW diagnostic equipment. Next up was four-wheel alignment, this is because if your wheel alignment has misaligned the direction which the ADAS sensors project is warped (more info to follow on this in another post). And finally, the ADAS calibration, to ensure that the vehicle safety systems continue to operate as intended.

A misaligned camera can lead to false readings and possibly an accident. Sensors can be found on almost every side of a vehicle, so any work done to a vehicle will usually result in the ADAS system requiring re-calibration.
